Plastikkbarna

Plastikkbarna er ein nett-teikneserie om plastikk, natur og vennskap. Det fyrste kapittelet vart publisert sumaren 2021 og totalt 12 episoder vil verte publisert i åra framover.
I teikneserien møter me venene Jessi, Hadi og Éira som har starta sin eigen miljøklubb mot plastforureining. Teikneserien utforskar menneskets forhold til plastik som materiale og ressurs og søken etter løysingar og alternativ til plastikk.
Eg hadde min eigen miljøklubb når eg var 12, saman med søskenbarna mine. Med denne teikneserien øsnker eg å portrettere engasjementet og den idealistiske energien som finnast i barn. I beste fall håpar eg at teikneserien kan inspirere lesarar til å sjølv ta tak i problemet og sine eigne liv, slik ein miljøserie kalla Blekkulf inspirerte meg på 80-talet.
Teikneserien er laga på nynorsk og vert oversatt til nord-samisk og kvensk.
Plastikkbarna (Plastickids) is a Norwegian webcomic about plastic, nature and friendship. The first chapter was published summer 2021 and in total12 epidodes will be published in the following years.
The comic introduse us to the friends Jessi, Hadi and Eira and their anti-plast club. In this club they explore takes action against plastic pollution. The comic investigate our relationship to plastic as a material, and the search for solutions and alternatives to plastic.
I, the comic artist, had my own anti-pollution club when I was at their age. By making this comic, I want to portrait the idealistic and energic force of young kids. At best, I hope my comic can inspire readers to take actions themselves, as similar children productions inspired me in the 1980s- and 90s. The comic is published in the Norwegian, sami and kven languages.
I will adress localisation to other countries when the series is completed.
